Remember the good ol’ days when we were rocking Windows 95? No, me neither… doh!
Anyway if you want to give it a try while waiting for Windows 7 on iPad, check out this video:

iOS 4.2 is the unifying release that finally brings the iPad and iPhone in feature sync! Besides multi-tasking and folder organization, iOS 4.2 also brings some brand new features including:
– Printing: Print mail, photos, web pages, and more directly to a printer on a wireless network
– AirPlay: Wirelessly stream videos, music, and photos
Unfortunately, Apple is planning to release iOS 4.2 somewhere in November… That’s a very long wait! That’s why we decided to launch the iOS 4.2 for iPad Beta Tester Program!
The new tool developed by the Dev Team has just been made available for download through Cydia.
Frash can read sites containing Flash animations directly from the iPad’s Safari browser.
The hacker named Comex has explained that the results of its application were already promising on iPad and is working fervently to get the best results possible on iPhone (iPhone 3G or higher).
To install Frash for iPad, use the following source in Cydia: http://repo.insanelyiph0ne.com/
This is a guide to jailbreak iOS 4.0 GM on iPhone 3G S. Be aware that you need to possess an iPhone developer account to download and install iOS 4.0 GM, or you can join our beta tester team. Make sure your device’s UDID is registered before going further.
Things you will need:
– This special version of PwnageTool
– A device with a registered UDID
– iOS 4.0 GM for iPhone 3G S firmware (iPhone2,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw)
– iTunes 9.2 Beta
– a macintosh computer or hackintosh (PC running Mac OS X 10.6.3)
Download the firmware (iPhone2,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw) and place it on your desktop.
If you have a BOOTCAMP partition, please eject it or PwnageTool won’t find the ipsw.
Create a custom ipsw using the following instructions:
I’ve written up a tutorial for anyone to install Android on their iPhone 2G. It’s quite long, but only because it’s so simple and each step has been broken down to almost every click just so it’s easy for a total beginner to try this out!

“Finally breaking radio silence to bring you Android on the iPhone. :)”
I’ve been working on this quietly in the background. Sorry about the initial video quality, but YouTube promises that the quality will get better as the video gets processed more. The back part of the version I uploaded to Vimeo was cut off.
In the video below Android is demonstrated on an iPhone 2G; however, it should be pretty simple to port forward to the iPhone 3G. The 3GS will take more work.
Planetbeing thanks CPICH for reversing support, harmn1, posixnina, jean, marcan and saurik for patches, and last but not least, TheSeven for his work on the FTL.
