So once again I pay the 5 dollars and still get error 13! Was assuming that the beta 2 would be fixed… guess I proved the ass u me saying correct… irritated…
Ok i downloaded the 4.0 beta 2 as soon as i could last night. It was around 7pm central time in USA. I received a corrupted zip file ony MacBook. Meaning the $5 was for nothing. Then i emailed these guys and they responded with another new file to download from the site. They also loaded my account with a free download. I downloaded the new file and it works just fine. However i wish i wouldve just stuck with Beta 1. The beta 2 is VERY buggy!!

Hi you sent me this email and i download the iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2 and i put it in my iPhone but when it was ready, itunes said that they we're unable to complete becouse my divice is not resgistered as part of the iPhone Developer program, ans i pay 5 dollars to download the os 4.0 and 6 dollars before when i put my UDID please get me back the sooners posible becouse now i dont have a phone to call anybody please

We cannot modify your UDID, you need to repurchase a new slot as already explained.

Everyone keeps asking about loading OS4 Beta from Windows. This likely will not be available. As an iPhone Developer, you can only develop using a Macintosh. So, they assume the Beta testers are running Mac OS.
Find a friend with a Mac and it works like a charm.
WTF? Can't do app updates over the air or wifi. Telling me to connect to wifi or computer. I'm on wifi. So i have to delete app and reload instead. Beta 2. Bugs!!!
can anyone tell me why when i try to sync i get the error message “iTunes could not back up the iPhone because the iPhone refused the request”. i'm running the beta 2. and yes, beta 2 is pretty buggy.
activation isn't completing for me. it is on my iphone 3g but itunes told me to register the device. ????? help me plz!
i paid twice to make sure i entered the right UDID. plz help quickly! im out of a phone!
hi, so i know im repeating things as per os 4.0 beta 2. But here is what i've noticed.
- Camera fails (i know it has been covered) (can take picture but can't save it)
- When syncing with my computer, photos cannot be synced (cannot find file error comes up)
- Phone auto locks after unlocked phone call
- Bluetooth connection not clear when talking on the phone
- location services not working properly (causes certain apps that use location to crash)
That'sis for now, if i find anything more i will post.
Does the new itunes update 9.1.1 allow you to install iphone os 4.0 on a windows computer
iTunes needs an update which is forthcoming which will allow the backup. but right now – it only knows to backup OS3. It doesn't really know what OS4 is yet.
Not very likely. MAC Developers can only Developer with a MAC. To be an iPhone BETA Tester, your supposedly a Mac Developer. Thus, they think you are using a MAC.

- cannot update apps via wifi even when connected
- ipod sometimes stops and freezes after call is answered when music is playing and then this happens directly after the call ends and the ipod tries to resume.

has there been any fix to the sync issue? is there any way to sync succesfully without having the sdk 4 installed? could you post the necessary file?
