Jailbreak + Cracked Apps on iPhone OS 3.0

Only 2 days after the official release of the iPhone OS 3.0, the Dev Team has released a solution to jailbreak. Their software is called PwnageTool, you may already have heard of it ;) Then few days later, they released a second tool called RedSn0w which is in fact the successor of QuickPwn, probably they changed the name because of all the scams around QuickPwn, like QuickPwn.com & co.

Be aware that if you need a software unlock, it is not available yet, but should be anytime soon via Cydia. It’s called Ultrasn0w and will be available via APT, and therefore Cydia or Icy. We recommend you use Cydia.

Patched “installd” file will allow you to install cracked .ipa apps and games on iPhone OS 3.0 via iTunes.

Instructions:
1. Download the file and extract it
2. Copy “installd” file to /usr/libexec/
3. Set permissions to 0777 using WinSCP or iPhone Tunnel
4. Reboot iPhone
5. Sync and Enjoy

    I have an iPhone 3g with 3.0 and i doesn't work: the app by hackulo, your patch and the forum .bat script batch. Any app i get on my iphone thourgh itunes or appstore just crashes from the begging. Cydia apps work right.

    appsync is down now but i used to have it but same thing happened before when i go to itunes app on iphone i cant see any categories so i cant select anything

    Don't need the installd.patch just go to Cydia and hunt for 'AppSync' it does it all INCLUDING the installd patch FOR YOU!

    tried the installd patch but now i cant access itunes app on iphone is this normal or a problem, please help asap

    Found it. You need to add the repository http://cydia.hackulo.us in Cydia and install the application AppSync for OS 3.0 (1.1).

    There is another app if you can't do this yourself, but it's not IPAprep anymore... I can't remember the name actually.
