Any Leopard support yet?

Ross, there will not be Leopard support for a long long long time. Not until it provides something that’s required for a new Apple TV feature. I’d say that’s not likely to happen any time soon – particularly so given that Leopard is due to be replaced in a few months.

Guys, I need beta testers for atv4mac 2.3, please give it a try and report back if remote control works. Here it is : http://forum.macgeekblog.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=96
Ross, maybe Leopard Snow will be the next Apple TV OS. Patience

Is there any news on this at all?

Hi Jay, ATV4mac 2.3.1 is out, so I could give it a try.
But first I want to setup Tiger into VMWare Fusion, so I can do all the testing from there… Then I need to find more free time to have a look at it.
Hopefully I can manage to do that in the near future.

Great, thanks for getting back! So glad you’re still working on it. Can’t wait to get all the new stuff going on my mini. Any chance you could have a look at the AC3 passthrough when you get to it? Cheers man

Jay, if you have some time it would be nice if you could help us on this contest : http://www.macgeekblog.com:8080/NYCWeb/faces/win.jsp We are running out of time and we need people to subscribe, spread the word. The contest ends on 8th March. For each person that joins, we add 2$ to our jackpot, and if we win we will pick up a random person and give out the jackpot. Take a try, it should only take you 3 minutes to complete the steps.
Back to atv4mac, if you have a restore DVD of Tiger version 10.4.10, it would help if you could share it, mine is 10.4.8 and does not work in VMWare.
Peace.

Hey. I’m afraid I don’t have the Tiger disk you need, or else I would have sent to you. I’m sure you’ll be able to get your hands on a copy though. Will look into this contest thing that you’ve got going on. Thanks for the reply!

Hi Jay, thanks for playing the contest, today is last day, just right in time bro
In the meantime I got Tiger and installed it in vmware fusion, but I still have the problem that sound is not supported…
I tried several things but it did not work … Any suggestions are welcome
