Download iPhone Firmware 2.0.2

Yet another bug fix release from Apple just 14 days after 2.0.1 firmware.

Get ready to pwn the firmware, download it while waiting for PwnageTool update:

iPhone 1st gen users get : iPhone 2.0.2 (5C1) firmware for 2G (15558)
iPhone 3G users get : iPhone 2.0.2 (5C1) firmware for 3G (12056)
iPod users get : iPhone 2.0.2 (5C1) firmware for iPod (6313)

    Hi,
Just wondering – would i harm my jailbreaked (just yesterday) iPhone if I would use the official update from Apple? Or will it just overwrite the system giving me a spanking new and original look?

    Thank you for help

Answer b – it will just overwrite the system giving you a spanking new and original look. But you will loose jailbreak. So wait for pwnage update to be able to jailbreak apple’s firmware 2.0.2.

    for itouch users:

2.1 firmware is better, it has bug fixes.
I would suggest you always get the latest version of the firmware.

@eltr3mend2 : You should use PwnageTool to update your iPhone software and be sure you do not update the baseband (uncheck that option when building firmware ipsw).
