Mifki’s kernel is only compatible with Intel mobo’s with SSE3 and HPET.
He also released a kernel version for Intel mobo’s without NX.
Don’t expect any further release from mifki, as he is satisfied with his kernel.
Here is the SSE3 HPET Intel kernel: www.filefactory.com/file/cd939a/
Here is the kernel for no NX : www.filefactory.com/file/f3c2a8/
Something you may want to try, DaemonES has released a kernel based
on mifki’s modified source code. This kernel has fsb/hpet/nx autodetection.
From another source, this kernel has NX disabled and fsb autodetection only.
No hpet autodetection bullshit

I’m slowly getting lost in all those kernel releases there were so far. I’m seeing that in each kernel there is feature with I want e.g. fsb/NX/(HPET) autodetection, Intel/AMD autodetect, SSE3/2 autodect. Would it be possible to merge all these features into one kernel release that you all will collaborate on? Though I know that each of you tunes
his kernel for himself.
Otherwise great work, you are true geeks!

I would say, if your box is intel with SSE3 and HPET, then get mifki’s or DaemonES kernel. Otherwise if you are AMD, or SSE2 only, or without HPET, then you should wait for semthex kernel with is the most compatible with legacy hardware.

DaemonES kernel autodetect hpet.
But it doesn’t have noNX patch.
For one or two days it will be new kernel with jas nonx patch applied.
