It’s out!!! Only compatible with intel SSE3 mobos for now.
AMD & SSE2 users have to wait for a ppf to be applied on this DVD.
So everyone can get it!
Its on the green demon, search for JaS.10.4.8.intel sse3.only.install.dvd
JaS says:
This is the JaS.10.4.8.intel sse3.only install dvd for Intel and via chipped motherboards.
It can be run with or without NX / with or without HPET thanks to SemtheX!
If you have amd or sse2 grab it now as I will be releasing a ppf to add more support in
as it comes out !!!!!

It’s not that people don’t want to pay for OS X, its that people don’t want to pay $2k to get a mac. I plan on downloading this, and buying a Macbook Pro if I like it, and would gladly spend the money to buy OS X if it were possible to do without buying a new computer.
BTW, we need more seeds!

I tried 10.4.4 on PC hardware. I bought the Apple OS distro for $200 from ADC, so Apple was not technically out anything, they made money.
When I had decided that OS X could really do what I needed, I bought a MacBook Pro 17″.
I don’t regret it. My custom “hackintosh” is now a Vista test station. I did not find the MacBook Pro to be in any way deficient. In fact, I have been quite surprised by all the well thought out details.

“its that people don’t want to pay $2k to get a mac”. No, that’s not the reason. Many of we can’t buy a Mac that easy. In my case If I try to buy one . . . maybe in 4 years can get the money to buy it, but at that time I will graduate from college, and I really need software and a good OS to move on my duties. Also, I have a Computer, a Laptop, and I want to try Mac Osx Leopard, of course. The only thing that I could get with my savings was a computer with good Gb space, good graphic card, AMD procesor, good, but not a fully compatible system with original dvd’s(also, I don’t if legally exists), anyway, the best I can run is the 10.4.8 and having mac I’m happy and I feell kind of lucky because I getting it free, but no too guilty because I could buy it, but for my computer, the newest one doesn’t works, so Is not what people don’t buy macs ’cause they don’t want, sometimes they can’t and that’s why.
Ohh for example, in my Country computers are like double priced in online stores and . . . I can have a credit card already to buy one from internet,
